Hello and welcome! My name is Gaby Simon and I’m a freshman at the business school here at Pitt. I’m originally from Caracas, Venezuela, and moved to the United States almost 6 years ago! I plan to major in Finance and Supply Chain Management, with a minor in Economics. In the future, I would love to own my own company and be a real estate investor, as well as travel the world along the way. So far at Pitt, I’m involved in the professional business fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi, Women in Business, and Panther Equity. Fun fact but I was able to take French instead of Spanish in highschool, one of my personal goals is to be fluent in at least 4 lenguages by the time I’m 35.

As someone who moved away from home at such a young age, exploring new places and cultures is my favorite activity and an essential part of my persona. As I researched the locations that Plus3 offers, I wanted to explore a completely new place that was not similar to any of the previous I had been to. I’m eager to learn more about the German culture and hopefully pick up some German along the way, as well as explore the amazing architecture and cuisine. I’m extremely excited to learn more about the automotive industry from both a business and engineering perspective!
