Continuando el Viaje

on

I never expected to have loved an experience such as this one as much as I did. Initially, I did not expect to become such close friends with everyone on this trip and to have made such unforgettable memories. This program was probably the busiest 2 weeks of my entire life and I would not change it for the world. I am astonished at how much I learned in Argentina; I officially know much more about the Argentine healthcare system than I do the US healthcare system. I have traveled to other countries before but this experience shaped me into a much more well rounded person. I saw and experienced things I might’ve never experienced in my lifetime if I did not do this program. I will carry the things I saw and learned for the rest of my life and I will use them to make me a better nurse and healthcare professional. I have a new found confidence in myself and feel much more prepared to start clinical in the fall and for that I am very grateful. It is difficult for me to put into words just how far this program exceeded my expectations. I think we were all truly blessed as a group to get along and all genuinely enjoy becoming friends. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and you will always have a bond with people you traveled with. I cannot recommend doing something more. It is worth every penny and is much more than just a few credits and a vacation.

Buenos Aires will forever have a special place in my heart. Now, it is time for the next part of my Argentina journey in Mendoza. This farewell is definitely an emotional one, and I hope one day I can return here even if it is only to eat the best burger I have ever had just one more time.

Thank you for everything Argentina and especially thank you to Pïba.
