Hi friends! My name is Sarah Newton and in the fall of 2017 I will be a sophomore at the Swanson School of Engineering. I am from a town outside of Rochester, New York. I am chemical engineering major by day. When I’m not studying I am off being a full time romantic. Some cool/weird about me: I lived in Germany for two months when I was six years old… my favorite movie is Miracle… I love to draw and to make art… and I am terrified of bears. I chose the Plus3 program because I love to travel but I didn’t want my travelling to consume my entire summer. The Plus3 program fit my needs perfectly. I chose to go to Germany because I took at German 1 class this semester but mostly because Germany is well known for its engineering. It will be beneficial to learn about Germany’s culture because I will likely have to interact with people from Germany in the future.
