Hello, my name is Jack Marquis. A little bit about me, I am a rising sophomore studying finance and accounting at Pitt. I was born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia with one sister. Last semester I was a member of the University of Pittsburgh Accounting Association and played intramural basketball. I am a big Pitt football and basketball fan. I am also a huge Sixers, Flyers, and Eagles fan. I was very excited to see all three teams make the playoffs and for the Birds to win the whole thing.

I chose to do plus3 because I wanted to experience a different culture. I also wanted to try studying abroad before deciding to go abroad for a whole semester. I chose Italy because of different cities that the program visits. I also wanted to try the delicious food there. I am very excited to travel to a whole other country and see how they live. Can’t wait!
