Goodbye Verona

Today was our last day in Verona. We were given free time until 2:40 so we took the time to explore the city a little bit. I personally went to the top of the hill overlooking the city. It had quite the view. I happened to run into a few of the other students of plus3, which was a nice surprise. At 2:40 we went on a site visit to a clothing manufacturing company. They focus on design and printing clothes. they gave us a presentation talking about what they do. Strangely, this was the first time the speaker didn’t speak english and we needed Luca (the ISA agent) to translate for us. After the presentation we took a tour of their company. We saw where they brainstormed designs, printed and cut the clothes, and a store where they sell their clothes. After all that they fed us buffet style.

After that we went back to the hotel. I took a nap then went for one final walk around Verona before we leave tomorrow. It was a very nice night. There was a concert going on at the arena. Many of the locals came out of the concert wearing “Voya” bandanas. Aside from that there were a strange number of people out so late on a Tuesday night.

Verona was my favorite city on the trip. I’m sad we have to leave.IMG_1313.jpg
