Today, we didn’t have any group plans until the afternoon so we had awhile to explore Verona. A few friends and I got up super early to explore before it started getting crowded. We were hoping for good weather, but it rained the entire morning.
Our first stop was Juliet’s house. I’m not very interested in Shakespeare, but my mom is an English teacher so I mainly went to get some pictures to show her. The house ended up being very interesting!

Next, we went to the tall tower Torre dei Lamberti. There was an elevator to get to the top, but we wanted to climb 300+ stairs because why not? Once we got to the top, I was so amazed at the view, and it definitely made the hike worth it! After taking many photos, we headed back down and back to our hotel.

The company visit of the day was Mera More. This company works with other smaller companies to help them network with each other and build their business. Although the lecture was in Italian and Luca had to translate for us, it was interesting to learn about. After the lecture, the company had a group dinner prepared for us. We had a variety of sandwiches, lasagna, and a brownie for dessert. Today was a perfect end to our stay in Verona!
