Today started off with another walking tour through Milan. It was nice to see all the shops, although I think everyone was tired of doing walking tours by this point. One interesting this we saw was a huge department store. This store was not how I pictured a department store because it had many high end brands like Gucci, everything was on display, and it was very expensive.

Next we walked around until we arrived at the place that we were eating lunch. Today’s lunch menu was some very good bread, risotto, and chicken with potatoes. By the time we were done eating, we were so full and ready to head back for a nap before our next activity of the day.

Next, we had a lecture about the company called Bottega Velasca. This company makes all handmade leather shoes. It was interesting to learn about the logistics of the company and how they market themselves to target audiences.

After the lecture, I had a little more time to relax before going to dinner. We ended up having a very late dinner at around 10. Our group went to Michele’s for pizza. I had been there before on one of the first days of this trip, so I knew that it was good. Obviously I wanted gelato after dinner, so we ended up finding a place that was still open. Our night ended with us hanging out and talking. Tonight was one of the most fun nights I’ve had on this trip!
