Flying to Seoul

Today was the first day of me using an airport in quite some time. It took some getting used to again. There were times in which I was fairly confused as to which way to go, but they were easy enough to figure out. TSA is something that I am not quite used to as well, I did not know prior to today that one has to take off their shoes upon entering the TSA checkpoint. After TSA I was designated my first flight from Pittsburgh to Dallas. This flight was only about three hours, not so bad right? Well that rings true for the most part aside from the fact that I lost a piece of my earbuds at the beginning of the flight. Thankfully this was not a big deal due to the fact that the people on this plane ride were fairly quiet. I sat next to a friendly face as well on this plane ride, being one of the people going on the Korea trip with me.

After this flight was over, we ended up at the Dallas/Fort Worth airport. I was surprised at the class of this airport. There were luxury stores there such as Gucci. I did not go to any of these luxury stores due to the fact that a single purchase would most likely break the bank, but I did go to a subway for the first time in a long time. Though a little pricier than normal subway, the food was still tasty. After this it was time for the next flight. Unlike the previous flight, this one was roughly 14 hours. Fun right? But all sarcasm aside it was a good experience. The previous flight only offered biscottis and a drink whereas this one offered a choice of a chicken and rice meal or a Korean beef with rice meal. Both choices came with a small boxed salad, a churro like treat in taste, a small piece of bread, and a water. I was pleasantly surprised as to how much came with the meal. Also, remember that earbud piece I lost previously on the last flight? Turns out that the longer flight offered a pair of earbuds and because of this I was able to take of the piece of the earbuds that I needed and put it on my pair so I was able to use both earbuds the entire trip! Then after this I fell asleep shortly, had another similar meal, and then arrived in Korea after a total of 17 hours flying.
