Day 15: You Gotta Love Traveling

Sad! The day has come. The day we have to leave South Korea. It all starts with waking up at 6:30 am to finish packing, brush my teeth, go grab breakfast, and hop on the bus back to Seoul. We boarded the bus at 7:30 and drove six hours back to Incheon International Airport right outside of Seoul. I fell asleep for most of the bus ride with my headphones on and neck pillow in use. We stopped at two rest stops along the way to use the facilities and grab lunch. I ate my last Korean meal for lunch at one of the rest stops, and I was not disappointed with it. Once we arrived at the airport, we said goodbye to our tour guide and went on our way. The baggage line was short and security was a breeze. I ate another lunch at the airport, grabbing some always delicious taco bell. Once on the plane, I turned on my movie, put my seat back and slept for most of the flight, only waking up for the meals. The thirteen hour plane ride went faster than the first one to Korea and before I knew it we were back in the states at Dallas Fort Worth. Unfortunately, there was bad weather in the area when we arrived and my flight to Newark was delayed. I sat in the airport for five plus hours waiting to get on my flight home that was supposed to take off at 6:30. They kept on delaying it pushing it back hour after hour until 11:30 when they decided we were good to go. The three hour flight to Newark felt like nothing. I grabbed my bags at 3:45 am and drove home. It was a good hour and a half ride and I didn’t get home until around 5:30 am. I fell asleep once I hit my bed after this long day, happy to be home from this long and amazing trip.
