Hey Plus3! My name is Kelly Shelton and I am a sophomore at Pitt from Wilmington, Delaware. I am pursuing a major in Marketing, with certificates in Leadership & Ethics and Digital Media. At Pitt, I am involved in Women in Business and American Marketing Association. This summer, I will be a Marketing Intern at Thread International, which is a Pittsburgh-based company that produces sustainable bags and backpacks! Since it is a remote position, I will be living at home and working my country club server job on the weekends!

In May, I will be traveling to Ireland through the Plus3 Program! This program stood out to me because Ireland is a country I have always planned on visiting. My great grandmother immigrated from Ireland when she was just 19, so I have always had a special connection to Ireland. While studying abroad, I hope to gain a deeper understanding of Ireland, its people, and its culture. Additionally, I am eager to learn about the global economy and how businesses operate outside of the United States. I am so excited to navigate a new country with fellow Pitt Business students and make amazing memories!
