Hi everyone, welcome to my blog! My name is Liam Gordon, and I’m super excited to be traveling to Germany on the Plus 3 Business program! I am originally from the DC area, attending the University of Pittsburgh as a freshman with hopes to major in Finance. A fun fact about me is I have taken German language classes for the past three years! I am used to traveling around the world (I have been to the Philippines, Hungary ~twice~, and Paris) and love meeting new people and learning about new cultures. I am most excited to make new friends abroad while on the trip.

I decided to apply to Plus 3 Germany initially because I knew all of what Germany had to offer – and I knew I couldn’t miss out. From the hundreds of different “wursts”, you could eat, to the luxury automobile company visits like BMW this year, Plus 3 Germany has a never-ending list of offerings. I am super excited to apply myself and sharpen up on speaking Deutsche with other Germans, and I hope to gain a better global perspective of the automobile industry from both sides of Business and Engineering.
