When we arrived a Medochemie, we were greeted with friendly faces. Their facility looked very nice, and there office was full of working employees. We were taken into one of their presentation rooms and given a bag with items including: a pen, a notebook, a coaster, and more. Their presentation started with a video introduction of Medochemie that gave a basic overview of the whole company. Then two presenters explained their quality assurance and supply chain processes. They then turned it over to us for questions, which is when I started to get a real better understanding of their company. Their company researches and tries to mimic medicines on the market while trying to improve and make them more affordable. They then took us downstairs, made us put socks over our shows, and showed us their storage facility.
We got back on the bus and headed back to where I thought was going to be the hotel. When I woke up from my nap, we were at UNIC. We got lunch and had time to relax and socialize before our next company meeting.
When Wargaming gave their presentation, most of the information that they gave about their company, we already knew and was easy to get with a simple google search. Since the last game they made was in 2010, we weren’t really informed how they made their game, but instead on how games were produced in general. I appreciated this and found it very interesting because I was able to make connections with video games I have seen and played. He also gave examples of games I would not have really thought of, which was fun to recollect on.
In all, day two was a informative day, and the free time at night is much appreciated.
