Today we started off by waking up and taking a bus back to Limassol where we met with Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement, which is a company that trains people to work with ships. We took a tour of their facility and saw the dorms that the students stay in to simulate life on board a ship and the simulators that they use to teach the students how to operate the different technologies on board the ship. We also got to watch some students while they were doing the simulation which was very interesting.
After that, we traveled to Omodos Village. We went to a nice restaurant that brought out many kinds of amazing food for us to try, similar to the welcome dinner on the first night. After lunch we had time to explore the village. Since the village was in the mountains, the views were incredible and we spent a lot of time taking pictures. We also looked around the shops which were very cool and walked through the village monastery.
Finally, we drove to Troodos Square, which was also in the mountains. Some of us decided to go for a walk up one of the mountains which took awhile but was well worth it for the view at the top. After we walked back down we got back on the bus for Nicosia.
