We started out today pretty early and headed out to Limassol to visit medochemie, which is a pharmaceutical company. It took us a little over an hour to get there, but the drive was beautiful and well worth it. The headquarters of medochemie were very clean and modern, and it was very interesting to get an inside look into how pharmaceuticals run.
After this visit, we headed to UNIC to grab some lunch and later meet with wargaming. The food there was really good (the eatery needs to step up their game). I had chicken with a creamy sauce, yellow rice, and mashed potatoes. After lunch, we stopped at the mall during our free time. I think it’s interesting how there are so many food options but not as many clothing stores.
After our free time, we met with wargaming and discussed their supply chain and design process. I wish we were able to see the actual prototyping and design of the video games, but the lecture was still very interesting.
For dinner we tried a restaurant in the new city. It was called Sawa Syrian Restaurant. The decorations inside were really cool and they had a chef making naan bread by our table! The food was really good, especially the falafel and it was really fun hanging out and getting to know everyone.
