Today we visited the Limassol port. We started off the day visiting DP World. We took a tour of their facilities and then headed over to Eurogate. This company takes care of the many cargo shipments that go through Cyprus. We got to see their cranes and straddle cranes which were really cool!

After these company visits, we had lunch at the old port. The view was beautiful! You could see the whole mountainside from where we were sitting. Then, we visited the Limassol castle and had free time to explore the old port. I think it’s really cool how they preserve the “old” areas and separate them from the new developments on the island.

After a tiring day, we headed back to the hotel and grabbed some dinner. We tried a new place called the gym and it was really good! We were still hungry after so we grabbed some dessert and stopped at the little restaurant right next to our hotel.
