Hitting the Beach!

My time in Cyprus has sadly come to an end. Throughout my two weeks here, I have learned so much about Cypriot culture and business/ engineering practices and gotten to know my peers and instructors. I am happy to say that I will be leaving this trip with not only a lot of knowledge but also great friends.

My last day in Cyprus started off with a trip to the Pharmacy to get Covid tested because a negative test is required before going back to the United States. Luckily, everyone tested negative.  Then, we headed to the beach at Larnaca. This beach had the warmest water and the largest sand area compared to the three beaches we have visited. We didn’t see as many fish compared to Fig Tree Bay, but we saw a lion fish. This was very surprising because we didn’t know they were native to the area. We had lots of fun throwing a Frisbee, swimming in the sea, playing volleyball, and burying Owen in the sand. Then, the Bursics kindly treated us to delicious ice cream! It was the perfect end to a great trip.
