Today, May 18th, we went to PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) in Nicosia. While there, PWC talked about rethinking the supply chain. Their main vision is to create an autonomous connection between their customers, manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors. In order to accomplish this, they want to focus on their use of artificial intelligence (AI) more. By using AI more, there will be more analysis on what their customers like to buy and more suggestions on what to buy for their customers. After PWC talked about rethinking their supply chain, we got a presentation by Super Home Center who I believe to be associated with PWC. During their presentation, they talked about how their company works as well as their newer goals for the future and their methods on how to reach these goals. After this presentation, we then broke up into stations to learn more about circular economy, blockchain in supply chain, and BXT or business, experience & technology.
After visiting PWC in the morning, we got back to our hotel decently earlier than most days at 2:30. After we got back, we had free time before dinner during which we got Armenian street food and went souvenir shopping. After free time, we had our last meze group dinner. We had salad, pita, chicken skewer, nuggets, and cheese as per usual.
