The Final Day of an Unforgettable Trip

After so many business trips, cultural excursions, and group meals, our trip to Cyprus has finally come to an end. I’m sad to leave, but today was the perfect way to spend our last day in the country.

First, we had to take Covid tests to make sure we could return to the U.S. Once that was over, we all went straight to the beach in Larnaca. There, we spent most of the afternoon hanging out as a group. It was perfect. Just like at any beach in Cyprus, the sea was gorgeous, and today the weather was warmer so the water wasn’t cold. When it was time to leave, our chaperones bought us all ice cream, which felt good on such a hot day. We took some final pictures and came back to Nicosia. After doing so much the past two weeks, a final day at the beach was a great way to relax and remember all the incredible experiences Cyprus has offered us.

I don’t want to do a full reflection in this post, but I do want it to be clear how much I have appreciated this trip. I learned so much about history, culture, and business. I also met some great people who made this trip what it was. I’m so appreciative for the doors this trip has opened for me, and I hope that maybe my experience can influence others I know to visit Cyprus or any other new country.
