Our last day on the island was for leisure and I took full advantage.

After we all received negative covid tests, we headed straight for the beach. I got straight into the water and swam as far as I could. We then returned to volleyball with a vengeance. This time we upped our game, and notched 68 hits in a row! After that, I retired and lounged on a beach chair for the rest of the day.

That night, at the final dinner, I started to get saddened by the prospect of leaving the island. The culture I have experienced here has been so rich and different from my own. I learned so much new information about the business field through the company visits. I also had so much fun with my group in our free time. This trip was a once-in-a-lifetime experience and something that I won’t forget anytime soon.
