Hello everyone! My name is Jack Pleva. I am a third year student here at Pitt hailing from New Jersey. I am pursuing a degree in marketing with a minor in economics. While on campus I enjoy attending sporting events and club meetings, spending time with friends, and gathering knowledge in classes. In my professional life, I have a background in music and entrepreneurship.

I will be participating in Pitt’s Plus 3 Dublin program. This program will consist of two weeks worth of globalization and technology conferences and site visits within Ireland. The reason I chose this program out of all of Pitt’s offerings is because in addition to having a curiosity in global business, I have family originating from Ireland. This drove an interest in the country for years and now I have the opportunity to see it for myself. While in Dublin, I look forward to getting to know my fellow Pitt students on the trip and broadening my understanding of global business as a whole. Stay tuned to learn about my experiences!
