Hello, I’m Kaden Kashner and I am from York, Pennsylvania. I just finished my freshman year at Pitt where I plan to double major in Finance and Data Analytics.

Some things I love are soccer, traveling, and spending time with my friends. I have been playing soccer since I was 3 years old and I hope to be able to play some pick up in Costa Rica.

I wanted to do Plus3 because of the first experience I had with study abroad through Pitt. This past summer I was lucky enough to travel to Ireland as part of a consulting team working with a small business in Ireland. Seeing how much that changed me as a person and helped me build relationships with 6 other students still today was a deciding factor to travel again.

The reason I chose Costa Rica as the country I wanted to visit was because of my previous Spanish classes in high school. This is my first opportunity to travel to a Spanish speaking country and use the language that I learned in high school. Another reason is my love for coffee and my interest to see how it is made. I am really excited to be a part of this group and travel to Costa Rica.
