Frankfurt Pitt-Stop

Our Saturday full of traveling started with breakfast at Pamelas Diner with some of the group mates to get to know each a little better. We all ordered our food, ate, and then went back to Nordenburg Hall to prepare all of our belongings before we finally embarked.

Our first flight, was a quick one. We departed out of Pittsburgh airport for Dulles International in D.C. The connecting flight was the longest. We left Dulles for Frankfurt International in Germany. This flight had its ups and downs. As this was my first international flight, I got to experience the process of how things are done.

The entertainment system was nice and full of TV shows and movies. The flight attendants served us a dinner meal of chicken or pasta, then served a snack later on in the flight. These were defiantly not restaurant level meals, but they were still enjoyable. The hardest part of the flight was the turbulence and the time. The flight is by no ones short or steady the whole way. The turbulence got significant as we approached Ireland and the United Kingdom. Although this was difficult at the time, it was just a small part of the whole flight. Overall this day just felt unreal. I completed my first ever Atlantic crossing and stepped foot in Europe for the first time. Cyprus arrival soon.
