Saturday was a day of travel. It started with a group of people going out to Pamelas. A typical order from the group was the entree the morning after. After eating the spectacular breakfast, the group returned to Nordenburg Hall, where everyone had stayed the previous night. Upon everyone’s return, there was a 15-minute window to pack everything before the bus to the Pittsburgh airport. After the 15 minutes of spare time, everyone signed out of Nordenburg Hall and loaded into the bus to the airport. After the bus departed from the University of Pittsburgh’s campus, it was a smooth ride. There was no traffic on the roads at Noon.
The bus arrived at the airport at around 12:45 pm. After unloading their luggage from the bus, we entered the airport and headed to baggage check. I almost forgot my baggage check boarding pass because this was my first time checking a bag. After I almost forgot my boarding passes, getting security was easy. A few of us got stopped by security, but everyone made it through with all of their luggage. After security got to the gate, we managed to get onto the plane with everyone. The flight from Pittsburgh to D.C. was short, so nothing eventful happened. After entering the D.C. airport, there were approximately 30 minutes till our connecting flight, so we had to run over to our terminal for our connecting flight. We got to the terminal with enough time for people to pick up lunch before our long flight to Germany. During the long flight, plenty of in-flight entertainment was offered by United. I managed to watch two movies and one TV series. The movies I watched were The Dark Knight and Puss and Boots The Last Wish. The TV show I watched was Community.
