Dublin Day Dhá

After a day and a half in Dublin, I have been pleasantly shocked with everything that we have seen and taken part in as a group. While I had done my due diligence before entering Ireland, I could have never expected what it would feel like to be submerged in the culture of the country. All of the locals I have met in passing have been so kind and helpful to me which came as no surprise. However, prior to our arrival, I did not grasp just how diverse the city is. After two days of being in Dublin, I have met people with roots from all over the world, which gives me a feeling similar to that of New York City. Nonetheless, Dublin has its own unique charm that makes it stand out from the rest. As a prospective business consultant, I can appreciate the value of knowing the history of the places in which one conducts their business. Even after day two, I have learned so much of both the history and the day to day events that take place in Dublin. Our tour guides proved to be full of information and knowledge pertaining to how Ireland became what it is today. This will be extremely useful if I ever find myself doing business here as it can provide insight into why people do certain things and how they view ideas. Moving forward, I will continue to collect information on the country and further my understanding of it as a whole so I can truly appreciate the complexity of Ireland as it is today.
