Ups and downs of Prague

Today was my second day in Prague and I am loving it. The highpoint of the day was visiting the beautiful St. Vitus’s Cathedral. Words cannot begin to describe how amazing it is. I added a picture in the description, but I don’t think that it does the Cathedral justice. Plus, while we were admiring inside a group of men sang what I believe was a Latin hymn. That made the experience even more special. Another memorable but sobering part of the day was visiting a Synagogue/Jewish graveyard dedicated to remembering the 81,000 Czech Jews that were killed during the Holocaust. On the inside walls of the synagogue are the names of all the victims and there is a voice record playing that says all the names. I highly recommend visiting both St. Vitus and the synagogue.
