Wow! Herediaaa

My first impression of Costa Rica is that it is so vibrant and beautiful. Not only is the country vibrant but so or the people, they are so nice. As I walk through the city of Heredia people are always saying hello to you and open to talk. No matter if it’s a vender selling shaved ice with milk teaching me how to eat it or four little kids coming up to us to ask if they can play soccer with us, even with the language barrier you can tell that they enjoy talking and spending time with you.

I can not lie I did not know what it would be like to live with a host family. Fortunately, I am pretty sure I landed on one of the nicest mama tica’s out there. I came in and she gave me my own room, cooked such great food, but nothing has been able to beat the conversations we’ve had with her.

Lastly, I expected everything to be smaller than it actually was. We first visited the mercado where I thought it would just be a small store with the essentials but turns out it was almost a whole block with every single fruit, snack, or food you could think of. We also visited a church which was not only big on the inside but had a gazebo where they played live music and dancing,

Overall, I realized that Heredia is just an amazing place all around. It contains amazing people, great food, and beautiful business/buildings.
