Today began with a long walk to a history lesson hosted at Charles University. Learning about the story of Czechia was very interesting especially given such major events have had in such recent history. It was valuable to learn about the World Wars through a different lens. The lecturer was truly engaging. We then competed in a scavenger hunt through Old Town visiting different historic monuments.
Following this experience we visited the Technical University of Prague to learn about a budding start up called TechTest. It was interesting to hear about the challenges the company faced and what successes they have had and anticipate. We visited the Mechanical Engineering building, which was basically the Czech version of Benedum Hall.
In the afternoon we visited the Clock tower that overlooked Prague. The views were so expansive, the city sprawling in all directions. I have not felt out of place once in my time abroad. I have however felt incredibly small. There is just too much to explore, leaving me overwhelmed in the best possible way.
