Big Love for the Little Things

I have started to fall in love with the little details about Prague. I love looking down one charming street after another and ranking which one is my favorite. I love the walk back to the hotel past the astronomical clock and through charming Old Town. I love how the metro is clean and smells like it should be made into a candle. I love how almost every restaurant has raspberry lemonade and it is always fresh. I love noticing a new hidden garden cafe walking around the same streets I’ve been on every day so far.

I also love how all of the little things are just as meaningful as the big things. The big things for today included another interesting company visit with Central Bohemian Innovation Center and a visit to a nuclear fallout shelter. I really enjoyed getting a tour of this shelter hidden below a nice hotel and found it hard to believe how recent its history is. We got to climb through a tunnel and see how the old emergency exit works. Despite having a busy day of activities, I still find that the little details are more important to me than the big checklist items.
