Today started with a company visit to Central Bohemian Innovation Center. It was interesting to hear their business model for helping new and existing start-up companies succeed in their respective industries. It was also cool to hear about some of their success stories, including a company that made glass nail files. On the way to lunch we got to hear the astronomical clock ringing in the Old Town Square. Then I saw a cat. We traveled to Wenceslas Square and went to a Nuclear Fallout Shelter museum underneath the Jalta Hotel. We went to a Music Festival for a short time and I made a flower crown with a few other people. Then I saw another cat. After leaving the festival, a few of us tried Chimney Cakes (which Jana told us are not traditional Czech disserts but were tasty none the less).

Some small things that I noticed when traveling here is that the majority of streets and sidewalks, especially in the city center where we are staying, are cobblestone. This presents an added challenge when walking because you have to concern yourself with not twisting an ankle. I also think it was an adjustment for me to realize that the Czech currency coins are whole Koruna, as opposed to USD coins, which are fractions of one dollar.
