Day 3 in Prague: Students Again??

From tourist to citizen for the day!! We got the chance today to listen to a lecture on Prague’s history throughout the past century. It was an amazing to see what a university setup looks like in another country, and it was so fun to learn about the history of the city while staying here! From there, we got the chance to do a scavenger hunt that took us across the Charles Bridge and allowed us to explore a bit more of the city. Even though my group did not win the hunt, we had such a fun time trying to figure out what all the clues meant as well as making sure we tried to accomplish everything quickly.

After our morning of school, we got decided to have lunch at the cutest little cafe on the water next to the John Lennon wall. The cafe had the chairs covered in sheep wool, and gave the cutest vibes. Everyone LOVED their meals and we were finally able to see what the difference was between pork knee and pork knuckle. I got a duck leg and it was absolutely delicious, I hadn’t had duck in such a long time and this was the perfect reintroduction to the food. Also, to make this meal even cuter, we all ordered Raspberry lemonades that were to die for. The cutest presentation of a lemonade I had ever seen in my life!!

From there we took the tram over to the technical university where we heard from the company TechTest, and got to play on some fun elevators that would absolutely never be allowed in America (sadly). It was very interesting to hear from TechTest, and since they are still in the very early stage of their company/product, it’ll be fun to follow along and see where they are able to take their product.

To wrap up the night, we had dinner on the rooftop of a building overlooking the astronomical clock and Old Town Square, and I even tried Veal for the first time! I don’t regret trying it, but honestly I probably won’t ever eat it again (poor baby cows)

Until tomorrow!
