Today was another phenomenal day, and is probably one of my favorites so far. We started out our day today with breakfast, as always, before getting on a bus and heading to Kunta Hora. While there, we saw the church with bones as decorations, which was unsettling but simultaneously amazing. Afterwards, we headed to a few churches. They both had such phenomenal architecture. The first one had amazing artwork in the little attic area which was up a beautiful set of stairs. The second one, the church of Saint Barbara, was just as amazing. My favorite part of this one was the view on the balcony. The views in Kunta Hora were so so amazing, and a couple of hours there was simply not enough. Once we returned, and after a power nap, I went with some people to this panting place where a lot of us painted mugs. This was awesome because now I have a custom souvenir to bring back home. It was also just a very generally fun experience!
So far, the best authentic Czech food that I had was definitely pork with Cabbage and dumplings. I don’t know how authentic this is, but I got bread with eggs and pickles on it Thursday night, which was my favorite meal of the trip so far. I know that chimney cakes are not authentic, but trying that was very good also!
Can’t wait for another day trip tomorrow and many hours on the bus!
