Czech Food Is Alright

I got a good night of sleep, so I enjoyed the scenery from the bus on the way to Kunta Hora today. We toured the Church of the Assumption of Our Lady and Saint John the Baptist and the Sedlec Ossuary where bones from over 40,000 people were placed in intricate layered towers and nailed to the walls. This decorating was done to remind people of their impending death, “memento mori.”

We then went to the St. Barbara’s church and strolled around the town for lunch. I got a pizza, which was alright. My favorite meal was honestly the catered lunch from our visit to CEZ. It was not Czech food, but a greek salad, caprese salad, green curry, raspberry pastry, and coke. I’m not the most into meat, which is common in Czech meals.

I took a walk and got a drink with two Australian musicians that I met. We talked about travelling for a couple hours and looked at the river.
