A different view of Ireland…

Our first day-trip was to rural Ireland. We got to see gorgeous hillsides, lakes, farms and so much more. Truly such a unique experience! Now that we have been in both urban and rural parts of Ireland I am able to see how much they differ. I have noticed that urban lifestyles are faster paced and seem to have a much larger range of diversity amongst people. Whereas in the more rural area life seems slower and more go with the flow. I also realized that in rural Ireland there is a huge sense of community where everyone works together. Another thing I noticed is that rural Ireland seems less used to foreigners but I didn’t feel as though there was a negative mindset surrounding them. In terms of types of businesses in rural Ireland agricultural related businesses are the main types compared to more tech related businesses in Dublin. When people typically think of entrepreneurship often the agriculture industry is not the first to come to mind but even in rural Ireland entrepreneurship is very apparent. Overall, it was super cool to see the difference between rural and urban Ireland.
