Today we woke up bright and early and left @8am. The bus ride was about 2 hours long and it took us to the oldest city in Germany; it was called Regensburg. This city was so pretty to see, and it almost reminded me of Italy. They had these structures called beer gardens that were gardens in the center of buildings. They consisted of really pretty shrubbery and usually a cool restaurant. Our tour guide was super insightful and sweet as well. She told me a university around there has 35,000 students! I was shocked as that is humongous. After our tour we ended up at a The Regensburg Cathedral.
The Boys and I walked around and grabbed some food. We got authentic chicken shawarma bowls/pitas, and it was literally so freaking good. I will say it is hard to order in English when the employee does not speak it. This whole trip I have felt ignorant so I hope I can learn German when I am back. After this we walked around and got gelato. In fact, we got gelato three times today; I know it is excessive but hey it is so cheap and good here. We then went to a department store and when we got to the top to our surprise, there was a beautiful outlook of the city (pictures shown below). Then we went to the cathedral, and it was breathtaking. The gothic structure was so unique and really showed how old the structure was.

After we got our second gelato and met up with the group. From there, we walked to the bus and drove to Walhalla. This is when our bus driver hit a sign and so we had to pull over. Definitely memorable but we all felt so bad. Anyways a few moments later we arrived at Walhalla. This place was breathtaking. There really are no words for this experience so I will let the pictures do it justice. After this we drove home for about two hours. Shockingly I passed out. After I went on a solo date to Rice Bar (my third time) and then walked around. I ran into some friends, so we grabbed gelato again (yes three times). Then I went back to the hotel and got some work done. After I called it night. Sad to say now we only have three days left ☹.
