EPIC Museum Visit and a fun day in Dublin!

This day off from site visits was filled with lots of fun, and was a nice relaxing break from the company visits. We started the day by going to the EPIC museum, which was one of the more interactive and overall interesting museums I have ever visited. The style of the museum was interesting, as we were able to weave through various different rooms, that all offered something different, and had a variety of videos and games as well. We learned about famous Irish historical figures as well as learning about how Irish emigration has impacted countries across the world. This was specifically interesting to me because a long time ago, members of my family generations ago emigrated from Ireland to America.

After the museum, I went out for a nice lunch with some friends at Lucky’s, which did not disappoint at all! I have been very impressed with the food this city has to offer. After lunch, we went shopping at a few spots, and I found some gifts to bring back for my family. The free time I have had to explore Dublin has been awesome, and I have learned about just how much this city has to offer.

After lunch, I was able to go back to the hotel and take a much needed nap, before heading back out for some more exploration. While this day was not as jam packed as some of the other days, I still enjoyed it very much, and spent some quality time with the other people on my trip. This is certainly a day I will remember!
