Narrowest Alley in the World!

Today was a long but eventful day. We got to have a behind the scenes tour of Kunsthalle Praha which is a new, non-profit art gallery. During the tour we saw the loading dock, storage center, “gold” room, galleries, and offices. Through the opening presentation, we learned about the preservation efforts that they made to keep the existing exterior concrete walls of the building and the wooden beams in the office space. It was clear from the tour that there was a lot of time spent designing the layout and specific features of the building. After the facility tour, we had time to explore the exhibits which features a hammock room and an interactive drawing system. Later that night we had the alumni event which was a great way to meet new people and make new connections. I had the privilege of speaking to Roman Lesly, former CEO & CFO of Skoda and FedEx. He gave great professional advice and was so humble. He truly values the good of humanity and prioritizes giving back to his community. Once the alumni event was over, we got to see the narrowest alley in Prague and watch a light show over the Charles Bridge.
