Hello everyone, as I look forward to my Plus 3 trip to South Korea I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Jacob Sedwick, I am from around Dayton, Ohio and I am a freshman planning to major in Marketing and Finance. Some background about my family is I have an older sister(21) and a younger brother(13). Personally I am more of an introverted person and enjoy nature, specifically national parks, weightlifting and watching sports such as football, basketball and baseball. Currently I work for the University as an intramural official and this summer I will be interning for a sports tech company covering baseball in Dayton.

In choosing the Plus 3 South Korea program I wanted to make my first trip outside the country memorable. I have always admired South Korea’s tech prowus and resiliency so when given the chance to go through the university, I couldn’t pass it up. During this trip I hope to gain a broader cultural view outside the US. In addition I am very excited to learn about all Korean smart systems and business structures. Last but not least, I am most exhilarated to attend a Korean baseball game in Seoul and experience sports in a different country as I would love a career in sports in the future. In conclusion, as I post this we are 30+ days away from departure and I couldn’t be more excited.
