Hi! My name is Lindsey Storey and I am a freshman in the College of Business Administration at The University of Pittsburgh. I am currently triple majoring in Supply Chain Management, Marketing, and Business Information Systems, along with an intended certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. I grew up about 20 minutes from Oakland, in Monroeville, Pennsylvania. In my free time, I enjoy exploring Pittsburgh, going to the gym with friends, and just being creative in general! I recently became a Teaching Assistant for Bus10, an introductory business school class for incoming freshman, so I am very excited to take on that responsibility next semester. This summer, I plan to attend many events here in Pittsburgh, catch up with hometown friends, and spend time in New Jersey with my roommate!

Plus3: Netherlands

In just a few weeks, I will be embarking on a study abroad experience to the Netherlands! This will be my first time out of the country, and I could not have picked a better place to start my travels. When deciding on which of the Plus3 programs to consider, the Netherlands stuck out. The sheer topic of the program: Concept to Consumer, caught my attention. Ever since I could verbalize my future career plans, I knew I wanted to run my own company. Understanding just how interconnected the business world is, and the importance of global supply chains, along with logistics, all coincide with both achieving my ideal career, and the Netherlands Plus3 program.

Through this experiential learning opportunity, I plan on taking in not only the culture and my amazing surrounding, but the core business aspects that I will use to build up my professional self. My intention for this trip is to learn about business on a global scale, discover new places, make amazing memories, and have the trip of a lifetime!
