Today we finally made our arrival in Amsterdam! The day started bright and early after staying the night on campus, with our first flight to Boston then straight to Amsterdam! I caught some sleep on the flight but the day was still exhausting. No time for rest though one we got there!

Once we arrived in the city and dropped off our bags at the hotel we jumped straight into a scavenger hunt! We stopped at many different landmarks and churches in the city while also hearing about some of the city history.

After we finished the scavenger hunt we had a few hours of free time before dinner that night, so we explored a few shops, I got some tacky souvenirs, and had some pancakes for late lunch!

We finally got to check into the hotel for a well deserved nap and refresh then headed off to dinner at Coco’s Outback, where I had some tasty shrimp and fries. Afterwards we wandered the cities for awhile and got a beautiful view of the sunset!

We took the metro home and are hitting an early bedtime tonight to catch up on all the jet lag. Can’t wait to get to take in the city even more tomorrow!
