Today, we visited Augsburg University and met up with our groups for our company analysis presentation. I was glad how well and efficient we got along to do our introduction project. The German students, again, were very nice and friendly. On the campus tour, I was surprised with how many sporting attractions it had. I saw huge rock-climbing walls, frisbee golf, sand volleyball, an outdoor playground, a track, and more! This was way different than Pitt as it does not have all of these. Additionally, on the tour the cafeteria food was much better in my opinion than the Eatery food at Pitt, and students will actually eat there. Another big difference was the amount of green and nature spread throughout the whole campus. There were streams running along and grass planted on top of roofs/balconies. It gives it an eco-friendly feel compared to such an urban campus at Pitt.
We then proceeded to do a scavenger hunt tour around the town with a sweet treat at the end! Overall, it is very interesting seeing how German culture is much different than American. I learn something new everyday here. Finally, an amazing pizza dinner at Al Drago was a perfect way to end Day 2 and to keep the trip going strong.
