Today was our second day in Augsburg, which was packed with a lot of fun. To start off the day we left the hotel around 8 am to go to the university. Once we got to the university we met up with the other German students, where we all split up into our groups. Once we were in our groups, we created a basic PowerPoint presentation where we shared information about the company that we were assigned. The company that I am in is Forvia. After we all presented, we learned about the company Audi from one of its workers named Patrik. Learning about Audi from an insider’s perspective was fascinating!
After Patrik was done, we headed over to the dining hall. The dining hall was interesting for sure. It was the most packed dining hall I have ever seen before with plenty of students rushing in and out. The food was not bad, but to be honest I think I would still prefer the Eatery!
Once we finished eating our meal we once again split up into groups where we did a scavenger hunt around the campus and the city. We got to see the whole campus which was super neat. I was surprised to hear that this campus was somewhat special compared to other European campuses. Augsburg campus was similar to a college campus in the United States with uniformed buildings and an actual campus to walk around. All the buildings on the campus were in the same area and space, which is unique because usually college buildings in Europe are spread out.
After we were done touring the campus we headed back into the city where we toured several other places. My favorite spot that we toured was the cathedral. The cathedral was beautiful from the inside and outside. I loved how to intricate the building was and how much work seemed to be put in to create such a cool building. In America we have cathedrals and all however nothing really compares to the beauty and design that the cathedral in Augsburg had.

We finished up the day by going to Al Drago which is an authentic Italian restaurant. The food was delicious and I enjoyed spending time with some of the German students again.
Overall, the day was for sure long, but I am super glad that we did everything we did! I am looking forward to crating some more good memories!
