Another day touring around we had an amazing time. We first went to the train station to Stratford-Upon-Avon. The train ride was fun and the view out the window was beautiful. When we arrived we met our tour guide, Tim, for the day. He took us all around Stratford-Upon-Avon and Shakespeare’s famous monuments. We learned jaw-dropping facts about Shakespeare and the incredible history he left. We walked around more and headed back to Birmingham for dinner at Vietnamese.
My favorite part of today was walking around the shops in the town of Stratford-Upon-Avon. We were able to go into the shops and look around. The town was adorable and the shops surrounding it had some cool souvenirs. There also was a street market going on today. They had everything from fun food to art pieces. We found a great ice cream shop that was so good! We walked around with our ice cream and got some candy to try.
At lunch, we ate at The Food We Love. I got a salad and it was very delicious. When we ate at Vietnamese I ordered off the classic part of the menu, the most common things people order from there. When it came I was so excited because it looked so good! We then wanted a sweet treat and the ice cream shop that we found was so good! They had so many fun flavors to try and I ended up going with Strawberry gelato. Everything that I tried today was so good and I cannot wait to try more exciting foods.

At Stratford-Upon-Avon, our tour guide Tim, had some outstanding facts. He was able to answer any questions anyone had. He had knowledge behind every monument he took us to. My favorite part was the house that Shakespeare grew up in. The floors were from the original house and it was so cool to walk on the same floor. It was a stone which was interesting and I was impressed by the amount of time they had to put into making it. When hearing all the amazing things Tim had to say about Shakespeare, I felt inspired. I felt that I should be the person I wanted to be and follow my dreams. It was so amazing to learn and to be in the places Shakespeare once was.
Overall I had an amazing day and made many memories. I learned and saw so many cool monuments and views. I learned so many new things about Shakespeare and how he impacted literature forever. I will always remember walking and learning while feeling inspired. I noticed one thing today that really stuck out. I noticed that there are no plastic straws or utensils. This is great for the environment but also takes some adjusting. I will get used to it soon and I hope to continue to help the environment in the States. Thankfully, when we were done with our tour we did not have to say bye to Tim because we will be seeing him for another tour!
