Today was the shopping/city tour of Munich which was one of the days I was looking forward to the most. We first got to see the Cathedral in all its glory and walk around the town hall while listening to some background history information. We walked past a place where surfers jump into this mass of fast-moving water and surf a small consistent wave. I never heard of something like this and to see all the surfers go one by one was incredible. While we were walking, I kept noticing that I was surprised at how clean the city was in comparison to some cities in the US. I also noticed that there were live music groups all through the day. Once we finished up the brief tour of the city, we first went to get food at the HB house. this was an experience I will never forget and I am so glad we got to go. Everything felt like it came straight out of a movie and we were living in it. I ordered something new, the sausage platter, and it tastes delicious. Something I will brag about for the next few months! Lastly, before coming back to the hotel on the trip, we went shopping around town as well as grab some gelato for the first time this trip!
