Today we got to tour the Audi factory and the museum as well. It was such a great experience to see all the cars being made from sheet metal to full cars. The amount of different cars they can produce multiple types of cars. The assembly line was nothing like I expected because employees were working on the moving conveyor belt. The amount of preparation and specific materials needed for each car and the speed at which they complete them is so impressive. Throughout the tour, I found myself really enjoying the process and wanted to learn more about the production process. I could definitely see myself working in their corporate office in the accounting department. Along with the factory tour, we got to tour the museum as well. I was intrigued by how it was set up by different decades. The amount of effort and design that went into the museum was very satisfying to the eye. Each floor was in the shape of a circle that showed you the evolution of each car. Finishing off the tour of the museum, we went to the gift shop where they had some souvenirs but they also had different memorabilia of Audi. Overall I really enjoyed the experience and learning about the company was something I am very grateful for.
