Today we visited HY company that makes probiotic drinks. They make the probiotic drinks that are at the hotel’ss breakfast bar. It was really fun. The tour kept you engaged and was interesting. They showed you various videos that took you through their process to make their yogurt drinks. All of them were in Korean but Kay, our native guide helped translate for us. They gave us a few of their different products and a goodie bag with some drinks, probiotic powder, and a towel. I thought their one mascot, Yakult D20, was very cute. They had VR and some games that I would have liked to try if we had more time.

We then had a quick lunch before going to the Samsung Innovation Museum. For lunch I got vegetable gimbap and soup. The museum was very cool and interesting. They took us on a tour through the history of technology and electricity from the discovery of electricity to modern/future innovations. I feel like I could have spent a couple more hours there reading everything and watching all the videos if I had the chance. I like museums and could spend an entire day in one. All the digital displays were cool. They also had a whole bunch of old products and inventions related to technology. Apparently the one person that began utilizing radio waves helped to found the electric engineer department at our school.

We then got back on the bus and went back to the hotel. Dr. Yun sent us on a scavenger hunt in our smaller groups when we got back. We first went back to the hotel and I changed into more comfortable clothes and shoes. We went to Lotte Tower and music hall, Gangnam Style statue and Uhm Jung- Hwa’s handprint.
