Tech Trek

Today was another day of company visits. First, we started at the hotel and took the bus to HY. HY makes yogurt products in South Korea. When we arrived we had to wear provided sandals for sanitary reasons. Then, we were given a tour in Korean which was interesting. Unfortunately the factory was not running today due to the holiday that is tomorrow. At the end of the tour, we were given samples which were strange. They gave us probiotics which are good for intestinal health. The Korean people care greatly about their gut health. After HY, we went to lunch. Brad ordered a giant pineapple pizza cut into squares that was very good. Then, we got back on the bus and headed to the Samsung Innovation Museum. In the museum, they depicted the historic timeline of electricity, televisions, and phones. The television timeline was cool. I got to see the TV that my parents grew up on as well  the early 2000s TV that I grew up on. Additionally, they had displays showing their newer smart systems that are used in the home. The TVs were bright in color, the refrigerators were able to track what was and was not in the fridge, and they had smart TVs which could also be used as a smart whiteboard.  Afterwards, we headed to Lotte tower, the sixth tallest building in the world. Though I did not go to the observation deck, the pure size of the building was brutally impressive. Also, in the area surrounding the tower, there was pokeworld, Lotte world and a lot of restaurants. Lotte tower seemed much more fun online. Nonetheless, it was visually appealing. The area in general was quite enthralling. The journey to and from the tower was fifty minutes each way and it was very busy on the subway given that it was rush hour.
