Going to Audi highly anticipated all week and it did not disappoint. It was by far my favorite company visit. The Audi factory campus was huge and open. The group I was in started in the museum. This largely cylinder-shape building had tens or hundreds of Audi cars dating back to the early 1900s. I found it very cool that you start on the top floor and in the elevator, there is a screen that shows the years, and it goes back in time as you go up. As a kid, I loved cars and my love slowly fell off as I got older. It was very refreshing seeing all the old models of Audi as pictured below. They had cars that would try to limit the airflow and friction allowing them to go faster as experiments, race cars, military cars, and more. Below are some of the cars that I took pictures of.

Now, the tour part was my favorite part of Audi. We could not take pictures inside, so I do not have any. Our guide gave us a smartphone with an earpiece connected to it so we could hear him. To support his guide, he would play videos on the phones we had to follow along. During the walking tour, I experienced a car being built from scratch! First, with the basic parts, then welding, building the engine, the main assembly, painting, then putting in the couches and steering wheel. After the car was done being built, it had to pass an inspection and then people were driving it around. It was an incredible experience. Audi is so efficient when making these vehicles and make it look effortless. Our tour guide said that one production line makes 33 customizable cars in an hour based on the customer needs. Seriously super impressive. We wrapped up the tour by going to the cafeteria for food. It was expensive, but it was very good. Overall, Audi is an impressive automobile company, and it is going to be interesting to see what they can do in the future.
