Today was our final presentation day with the German students and I think it went very well. everyone knew their part and presented their information effectively. We got to ask and answer different questions about each other’s companies and after got lunch with all the students. I said bye to some of the students after lunch because they would not be at the farewell dinner and it was sad to know I won’t ever see them again. After lunch, we headed back to wrap up some shopping for family members and I got a German designer bag called Joop! When we got back, we got ready to head over to the farewell dinner where we ate with the German students one last time. It was a really good time to get to know more about them since most of the time spent with them has been presentation-related. I got a sense of sadness from everyone that our program was coming to an end. We did get gelato today in celebration of completing our presentations and to cheers to the 2 final days here in Germany. I am really grateful for this experience and am realizing how well we all fit as a group here. It is going to be sad to leave since we are just starting to get close but definitely am leaving with new friendships and a million photos.
