Hello readers! Today is our last full day on our trip. I’m so sad. I am going to miss all my friends! Today we had our first full day in London. I am so sad that we did not have more time in London, but that is all ok. I woke up and I went to go get breakfast downstairs. Our hotel was so very nice. The breakfast was charged to our room which was very very exciting. I ordered breakfast which included almost everything on the menu as you would assume. I did, in fact, sleep in because I was a little late to breakfast, but that was ok today. After we made our way to Florence Nightingale Museum spent an hour within the museum.

All of the nurses got to attend the museum. We walked around and looked at all of the artifacts. I learned so much from Florence Nightingale and I was so excited to be there. We took a ton of pictures and sent them to Lynnea for an academic account today! In the museum, we got to see Florence as a child and her family too. I took a picture of her as an 11-year-old which someone drew at the time. It was very interesting to see what she looked like as a child since she is so iconic within the nursing world. I would love to go back there at some point because it was so insightful and open up my mind to what I really want to do.

After the museum, we went across a bridge near Big Ben. In case you do not know, big Ben is the giant clock in the middle of London. We were also intrigued by the view. We got to see the Ferris wheel and a giant castle. We got so many pictures and got to see a wall with hearts all over it. The wall with the hearts was a memorial for people who have passed away in London. Many people put their loved ones’ names on the hearts to remember them and keep them in their memory forever. I think that is a great thing to do to keep your loved ones’ memories alive.

I was on the bridge. I decided to call my grandma and Pap as well as my Grammy. My mom is getting ready for work at six in the morning back in America. I was so excited that she got to answer and talk to me. Everyone was so intrigued by the view that I had. I was so glad I got to share it with them as they were not able to be here.

After we left the bridge, we went to find somewhere to eat and drink coffee. We went to an amazing coffee shop and gave them a great review because they were so sweet to us. I split a cup of strawberries and chocolate with my friend Maura. I also got a homemade latte that had a heart design on top of it. One thing I learned on this trip is that many people in England do not drink coffee that is sweet. I learned to like a regular latte instead of a caramel latte which is probably better for my heath.

After the coffee shop, we went to go look at stores and order to buy things for our friends and family. I also bought some cute stuff for myself as I’m going to the beach within two weeks of now. I am so excited to wear my bathing suit top of the beach! the best part is and I’m excited to show it off.

After we went shopping, we went to the wax museum about a 30 minute drive away. I was skeptical at first, but whenever I got inside, I had had so much fun. We got to see wax figures of a bunch of celebrities, including Drake, Rihanna, David Bowie, etc. one thing I found interesting yet weird about the wax museum was the fact that they had a section for murderers within the UK. In my opinion, they glorified the murders which was not ok, but Jack the Ripper was very interesting. They had a Star Wars section and I got to take a picture with Yoda and Jabba the Hutt!

After the wax museum, we met up at a pizza place for dinner. It was so very good and I split a vegan pizza with my friend Emily who has a dairy allergy. The pizza was so amazing that I did not even taste the difference between dairy free and regular pizza!

After our dinner, our group went to go see Mamma Mia at the theater! I was so excited because I’ve seen Mamma Mia so many times and I love the musical. I wore my pink dress that I bought for the special occasion and my red Nike air forces. The musical was absolutely amazing and I had the best time! I would love to go back and take my parents to family one day.
After Mamma Mia, we ventured back towards our hotel. We decided to go out shopping for some more souvenirs for our friends and family. I got some more stuff for a cheaper price because it was not in the central London area. I am a bargainer what can I say! I can thank Tracy for that!

Throughout the day, my favorite part was taking pictures in the rain and hanging with my friends. I am so happy that we got to spend our last day exploring the city of London. One day I would love to return and see what I can remember about the city.
This is my last blog so I would love to say thank you for reading. I had such a good time with these blogs and I appreciate everyone who took the time to read them and look at my pictures! I will be home tomorrow around 8 o’clock. I’m sleeping in my own bed although I did have the best time here in the UK. this is the trip I will always remember and never forget!
