Today we went on a tour of the Audi production facility. It was especially interesting to see the start-to-finish production which was something we did not get to see during our other visits. Beginning with the shaping of the metal, to putting the pieces together, to driving a brand new car through the facility as soon as it is complete. It was an incredible experience!

We were also able to walk through the museum and see the cars over time. It was such an interactive and beautiful museum. My favorite was seeing when they transitioned into experimenting with sports cars, trains, and planes. The evolution of design was really neat to walk through and see.

After the company tour, we had some free time in Augsburg. During this time I enjoyed a nice dinner by the town hall with my friends. It was a great end to the first day of the second week. After being here for over a week now, it is really feeling like home!
